Psycho Sunrise

Psycho Sunrise

The world turned pink
An eyedropper of diluted blood
Oozed a blanket over my eyes, womb pink
Some kind of hallucination I think
I said to myself am I drunk, am I high
Then the world turned orange
I could not say why
But a tangerine melody filled the whole sky.
Then fingers of scarlet, tremendous in size
As the skylark’s twittering filled my ears
Transcended the air to my delicate eyes
I shivered in awe and awaited demise
And when I awoke I had missed the sunrise.
It was weird.

For a 16-year-old’s poem it is awesome. vivid imagery. the poetry of a future artist. :)
