hey Cedar, love the sunflowers. That purple one is my fav too. Overall though I really like the red ones.

Your dad looks like a total stoner - what fun.

I have to agree with what you said about being lucky to have your family around. I grow up with just a dad and know the true value of a father that so many in our generation and sooo many more now are missing out on. I have strong females in my life too - and I think they are better than my real mum (afterall she buggered off when I was 15 months old.) My hobo and I spend as much time with our kids as we can, playing with them and chatting - you just can't get back that time once they are grown up.

Can't wait to see whats next....... xm

Love the flowers, your work with texture and color makes them have a personality....ones a little saucy, another is quiet, and still others seem to sing, dance laugh and weep. Love it!

I loved hearing about your dad and the golden banana!
His mailbox is the bomb, and the picture of him with it is a hoot! Your sunflowers are amazing! Not only are they beautiful, but the contrast in texture is just fantastic!

As your paintings always are... :)

What a wonderful series! Definitely keep this one going. I love your dad's mailbox. How creative! I can agree that most families are not lucky enough to have what you have had growing up (me included!). I love the banana story.
